Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Linwood Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Linwood Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Adams!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanders gets caught flat footed, as Adams shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Adams trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanders is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Adams gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Adams shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Adams is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanders keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Adams thows a huge punch but Sanders dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams looks to land a strike but Sanders avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Sanders lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Adams wants to stand and escape but Sanders is having none of it.
Adams is controlling Sanders's posture.
Sanders has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Adams is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sanders drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sanders jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Adams has his hands on Sanders's head, controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sanders has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Adams is proving hard to escape from.
Adams preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Adams is looking for a triangle but Sanders pushes his legs off easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Adams closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Adams throws a strike aimed at the side of Sanders's head but Sanders avoids it well.
Adams is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sanders's shoulder. That is not cool.
Sanders is not content to let Adams control the position.

Adams controls the position from side control.
Adams in side control, throwing shots but Sanders defends.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Adams goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sanders has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Adams but great work by Sanders.
Sanders wants to control but Adams is keeping him busy.
Adams tries to bench press Sanders off him but Sanders keeps the position.
Sanders wants to lay and pray for a moment but Adams keeps working.

Sanders tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sanders has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Adams sneaks out the side door and pushes Sanders away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Adams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Craig Adams dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Adams closes the distance and clinches.
Sanders goes for a takedown attempt but Adams pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Adams pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sanders is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Adams.

Adams dives in and scores a takedown into Sanders's guard.
Adams pushing down on Sanders's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Sanders keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Sanders avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Adams.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adams tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sanders controls his leg.
Sanders is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Adams missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Adams is trying to control the action in half guard but Sanders is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Adams with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Adams closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sanders looking for a sweep but Adams has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Adams goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Sanders is on top in guard.

Adams is adopting a defensive guard.
Adams has a closed guard, preventing Sanders from standing up.
Adams pulls Sanders in to control the position.

Adams looking for a guillotine here but Sanders defends easily.
Adams throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Adams had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sanders defends it easily.
Sanders trying to stand up but can't free himself from Adams's guard.

Sanders has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Adams is proving hard to escape from.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Adams.

Sanders is looking for a sweep.
Adams trying to control the position but Sanders is working away.
Adams taking a break here but Sanders is having none of it and regains half guard.

Adams is looking for a kimura but Sanders is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Adams to get the leverage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Craig Adams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Adams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sanders to the mat! Sanders manages to get full guard.
Adams controls from within his opponent's guard.
Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanders swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Adams. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Adams with a flurry of punches that miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Adams stands up and waves to Sanders to follow him.

Adams gets a clinch.

Adams has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sanders regains guard immediately.

Adams looking to sit in guard and control but Sanders gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Craig Adams has got the better of the ground game so far.

Adams is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sanders wants to stand but Adams has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Adams is looking to stand up but Sanders isn't so interested in that idea.
Adams is trying to keep Sanders in close.
Sanders lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Sanders trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Adams wants to sweep but no luck.
Sanders wants to stand but Adams has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Adams controls Sanders momentarily but Sanders frees himself.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Adams avoids the head kick by Sanders.
Adams changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Sanders misses with a wild combination.

Adams throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sanders was covering up waiting for the punch and Adams finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sanders can't keep his opponent in guard - Adams advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Sanders trying to control but Adams postures up.
Adams wants to pass to mount but Sanders is defending the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sanders is not content to let Adams control the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Craig Adams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Adams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
