Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Logan Dunlap!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Ivanov!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
A head kick misses from Dunlap.
Dunlap throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ivanov makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Dunlap misses with a double jab
and Ivanov counters with a nice uppercut.
Dunlap throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dunlap circles away from the clinch attempt.

Dunlap drives through with a takedown into Ivanov's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Ivanov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Dunlap working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ivanov's head.

Dunlap is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Ivanov is looking to work some ground and pound but Dunlap has wrist control.

Dunlap has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ivanov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've been informed that Ivanov has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Ivanov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dunlap gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dunlap won't allow Ivanov to sweep him here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ivanov wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Dunlap is now in half guard.

Dunlap is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Ivanov as he works his way to full guard.
Dunlap is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dunlap postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Logan Dunlap will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ivanov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ivanov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dunlap is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dunlap has escaped and now he's on top!

Ivanov is looking to stand up but Dunlap isn't so interested in that idea.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Ivanov shoots in and bounces Dunlap off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Ivanov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dunlap has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ivanov has managed to get both his arms back between Dunlap's legs - danger averted.

Ivanov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Dunlap knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ivanov on the ground.

Dunlap can't keep his opponent in guard - Ivanov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Igor Ivanov will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Ivanov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dunlap manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ivanov has Dunlap in his guard.

Dunlap stands and steps away. Ivanov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Ivanov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ivanov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Dunlap is looking for a sweep.

Ivanov is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dunlap looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ivanov gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dunlap is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ivanov lets go of the hold and Dunlap can pop his arm back in it's socket.
