Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ikki De Fenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Raban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Fenix's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bleak. James Raban is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from De Fenix as Raban shoots in.
De Fenix keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

It looked like De Fenix was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Raban throws a chopping leg kick but De Fenix manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

De Fenix avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
An attempted straight right counter from De Fenix misses the target.

Raban shoots in for a double leg but De Fenix sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
De Fenix slaps away a takedown attempt from Raban, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Raban uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by De Fenix.

And Raban tries to counter it with a takedown but De Fenix pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Raban changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De Fenix tries to avoid it but Raban manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De Fenix to the ground. De Fenix escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The cut above James Raban's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Raban steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from De Fenix. That one must have hurt.

De Fenix tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And Raban tries to counter it with a takedown but De Fenix pushes his down on his head and steps out.

De Fenix lands a nice leg kick that just misses Raban's sensitive parts.
De Fenix throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
De Fenix throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Raban stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from De Fenix, right into the meat.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Raban tries to move into range but De Fenix moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

James Raban's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Raban tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but De Fenix was well out of range. Poor timing from Raban.

A looping hook to the body misses from Raban. De Fenix does a little dance to reset his feet.

Raban's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Raban takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at James Raban's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
