Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Stilies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reggie Coleman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Gary Stilies's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gary Stilies!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reggie Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coleman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Coleman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stilies is just riding it out for now. Coleman eventually gives up the hold.

Stilies is trying to stand up here but Coleman is controlling him well.
Coleman wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Stilies uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Stilies thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Coleman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Coleman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A left lands for Coleman.
Stilies dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Coleman. That did some damage!

Stilies closes this distance looking for a takedown but Coleman circles away.
Stilies misses with a jab, cross combination.
Coleman shoots for a double leg takedown but Stilies sprawls well. He's pushed Coleman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stilies looks to land a combination. Coleman sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Stilies looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coleman is fending him off so far but Stilies persists. Nope, Coleman circles away and we're back to standing.

Stilies stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stilies wants it to stay on the feet.
Gary Stilies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reggie Coleman.
Stilies fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Coleman avoids it really well and circles away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Stilies goes for a double leg but Coleman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Coleman continues to drive forward.

Stilies has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Coleman is working away from the top position though.

Stilies shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Coleman as he avoids it easily.
And Coleman tries to counter it with a takedown but Stilies pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Reggie Coleman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Coleman wants to stand and escape but Stilies is having none of it.

Coleman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

I've got Coleman winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
