And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Hwang!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hwang throws a leg kick that is checked
and Rabid counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rabid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hwang was well out of range. Poor timing from Rabid.
Rabid misses with a body shot.
Rabid lands a nice hook to Hwang's body. Hwang takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hwang lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Hwang is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hwang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Rabid throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hwang seems to have recovered his senses.
Rabid walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Hwang drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Rabid swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Hwang's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

In his post fight interview, Vincent Rabid started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
