Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Guti!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Guti had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jackson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Guti Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jackson's back instead.

Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jackson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Guti's guard.

Guti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Guti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Well Guti has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
