PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eduardo Vega told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Greene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eduardo Vega!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega misses with a takedown
and Vega takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Vega drops down looking for an ankle pick but Greene pulls his leg out and moves away.
Vega is trying hard to land a takedown here. Greene sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
It looked like Greene was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Vega.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Greene creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Our winner, Danny Greene, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
