Waits has chosen What A Waste as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cult keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Cult uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Waits.
Cult is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Cult has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Sun Ra and his Arkestra's training camp in the buildup to the fight.
Cult stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Waits.

Cult closes the distance and pushes Waits back into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Waits digs a right hand into Cult's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Cult's gas tank.

Waits lands an elbow inside that Cult shrugs off.

Waits creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Cult with a big uppercut! Cult tries to clinch up but Waits pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Cult to the mat! Cult covers up and Waits unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
