The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Filipovic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Filipovic wants it to stay on the feet.
Filipovic shoots for a takedown but Taylor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Taylor fails to land the takedown.
Taylor keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Filipovic looks for a takedown but Taylor sprawls well.

Taylor drives through and clinches with Filipovic against the cage.
Taylor avoids a wild elbow strike from Filipovic.
Filipovic misses with a hook from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Taylor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Filipovic tries to stall but Taylor uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Taylor is looking to take a break and control but Filipovic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
