Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cider lands a nice looking body kick.
Cider rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Donnelly counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Donnelly takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cider throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cider throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cider scores with a punch to the head.
Cider jabs Donnelly right on the nose. Donnelly blinks but takes it well.
Donnelly scores with a hook.
Cider uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Donnelly has time to react.
Cider cracks a nice hook into Donnelly's ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Donnelly.

Donnelly has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Wild Card Training in the buildup to the fight.
Donnelly lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A head kick misses from Cider .

Cider forces Donnelly back against the cage and clinches.
Donnelly lands a nice uppercut.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Donnelly.

Donnelly jumps into guard, dragging Cider to the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Donnelly is looking to cinch up a triangle. Cider throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Donnelly's body to avoid the submission. Donnelly has instead reached around Cider 's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Donnelly arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

After winning the bout, Liam Donnelly thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
