Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Cambell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Young Brother (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Cambell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Young Brother!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brother misses with a combination

and Cambell counters with a shoot takedown. Brother fights it but they end up in guard.
Cambell is stalling in the full guard.
Cambell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brother swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cambell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cambell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Cambell has gone for a leg lock! Brother slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cambell's guard.

Cambell has his foot on Brother's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brother works his way back into a safe position though.

Cambell is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Brother breaks the clinch.

Cambell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Cambell wants to take a breather but Brother is having none of it.
Cambell looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Cambell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brother's head.
Brother is staying active underneath Cambell, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brother pushes Cambell off looking to stand but Cambell dives back in and keeps control.

Cambell is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Brother really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cambell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cambell in particular looking to stall.

Cambell's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Oooh a lovely combination from Brother sends Cambell down but not out. Brother dives into side control looking to finish.


Cambell is rocked!


It looks like Ryan Cambell has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cambell tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Brother throws a lazy head kick

and Cambell decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brother's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Brother is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Cambell drops back looking for a leg! Brother is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brother manages to kick Cambell off! Cambell jumps back into Brother's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

and Cambell counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Brother!
Cambell misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Ryan Cambell overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Cambell is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Brother has escaped the position, nice work there.

Cambell goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Brother has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cambell but great work by Brother.

Cambell is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brother is just riding it out for now. Cambell eventually gives up the hold.

Cambell is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cambell, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
