Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hobert Mays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matos Yury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Yury.
Mays blocks a head kick by Yury.
Mays went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Yury throws a series of punches but Mays moves out of range.

Yury pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Mays on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Yury throws a sloppy head kick and Mays moves out of range easily.
Mays is looking to counter the offense by Yury and move into the clinch.
Yury looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mays looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mays takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Mays tries to land knees in the clinch but Yury avoids the damage to the body.

Matos Yury dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sloppy strikes from Mays. Those never looked like landing.
Hobert Mays is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Yury has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

As Yury looks to move away, Mays throws a big counter combo bu Yury just gets out of the way.
Mays tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Yury manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Yury closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mays is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yury defends well.

Mays has Yury pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Yury throws a push kick but Mays slaps the foot to one side.
Yury swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Yury is breathing heavily.

Yury lands a big head kick that sends Mays tumbling to the mat! Yury takes a step backwards and waves Mays back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mays is rocked!
It looks like Hobert Mays has been cut.
Mays slips a jab and a cross from Yury.
Oh Mays is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mays gets tackled into the cage by Yury. Yury maintains the clinch.
Yury dips a shoulder and cracks Mays with a mighty uppercut! Mays falls back against the cage and Yury unloads with a barrage of strikes! Mays is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Yury screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matos Yury!
