Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens fails with a takedown attempt.
Showtime misses with a head kick.
Stevens seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Stevens gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Showtime to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Showtime tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Showtime has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Showtime can do anything to dispel that myth.

Stevens is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Showtime is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Showtime has escaped and now he's on top!
Showtime drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Showtime jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stevens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Showtime can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Stevens will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Showtime stays in close to Stevens's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Showtime is looking to stand up but Stevens won't let him.

Stevens had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Showtime defends it easily.

Showtime loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Stevens scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Showtime land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Showtime stands and salutes the crowd.
