Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sal Bartlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Delarosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bartlett drives through and clinches with Delarosa against the cage.

Delarosa has hold of one of Bartlett's legs. Bartlett is fighting the takedown attempt but Delarosa gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Delarosa wants to control from the top but Bartlett keeps moving.
Bartlett could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bartlett is pulling down on Delarosa's head. It's preventing any offense from Delarosa, at least for the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Delarosa shoots for a double leg takedown but Bartlett sprawls well. He's pushed Delarosa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Delarosa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bartlett is concentrating on defense, preventing Delarosa from advancing position.
