The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singletary wants to clinch

so Sanchez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sanchez throwing strikes but missing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sanchez prevents Singletary from improving his position.
Singletary is not content to let Sanchez control the position.

Sanchez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sanchez throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sanchez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Singletary is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Singletary changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanchez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Sanchez is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Singletary won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Sanchez off his unconscious opponent!
