Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rico Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dominguez comes to the cage accompanied by Renegades of Funk. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hunt's choice of entrance music: London Calling. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt misses the shot to the body.
Hunt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dominguez pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dominguez clobbers Hunt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hunt throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dominguez tries a low kick but Hunt avoids it.
Hunt lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Hunt pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dominguez swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Dominguez lands a leg kick that knocks Hunt off balance momentarily.
Dominguez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hunts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hunt's coach down at ~T~ Troid - Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hunt's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hunt's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dominguez connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hunt scrambles back to his feet.

Dominguez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hunt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dominguez scores with a head kick. Hunt tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A jab lands there for Hunt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dominguez misses with an uppercut. Hunt saw that one coming.

Dominguez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hunt. Dominguez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hunt looks to land a left hand but Dominguez moved out of range nicely.

enabling Hunt to counter with a crisp jab.
Hunt throws a leg kick but Dominguez sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Dominguez goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Dominguez looks to land a left hand but Hunt moved out of range nicely.
Dominguez sizes up Hunt with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

That kick from Hunt tenderised Dominguez's leg. Dominguez is trying to keep his angry face on.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hunt has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dominguez finds it's way round the side to connect with Hunt's head.

Dominguez lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Hunt has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Hunt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dominguez.

Hunt is rocked!
Dominguez weaves into range and cracks Hunt right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Hunt goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Dominguez is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
