The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James tries to close the distance and clinch but Madison swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
James has managed to clinch.
James throws a punch but it's blocked by Madison.
James unloads a knee to the mid-section. Madison lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
James scores with a shot to the side of Madison's head.
James lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
James utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Madison tries a body shot but James blocks it.
James throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Madisons head.
Madison is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James successfully pulls guard.
Madison slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
James is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Madison rolls with it to try and escape but James cranks on the arm and Madison is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
