And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Hernandez counters by moving into the clinch.
Hernandez is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Daniels is defending well.
Daniels using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Hernandez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Daniels breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A head kick misses from Daniels.
Daniels moves in looking to clinch but Hernandez pushes him off.
Hernandez does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Daniels tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hernandez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Daniels plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Weston Hernandez has been cut.
Daniels moves in looking to clinch but Hernandez pushes him off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daniels tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Daniels feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hernandez's calf.
No joy there for Daniels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jack Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hernandez tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Daniels lands a damaging elbow.

Daniels's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hernandez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Daniels was well out of range. Poor timing from Hernandez.
Hernandez takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Hernandez is rocked!
Daniels feints a jab and as Hernandez dips his head, Daniels unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Hernandez right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Hernandez falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Daniels smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
