The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danilov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ist circles away quickly and effectively.
Danilov lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Art Ist has been cut.
Ist will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ist closes this distance looking for a takedown but Danilov circles away.
Danilov throws a hook but Ist avoids it easily.
Danilov just misses with a punch to the body.
Danilov swings for the body but Ist moves out of range.
Danilov fails to land with a series of punches.
We've been hearing reports that Ist has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Ist tries to clinch up
and Danilov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Danilov works Ist's body with a nice hook.
Danilov throws a nice looking combination but Ist bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Danilov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ist moves in looking to clinch but Danilov pushes him off.
Ist fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ist darts in looking for a takedown but Danilov gets double underhooks and turns Ist into the cage.

Danilov is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Danilov throws a right and a left that Ist avoids nicely.

Danilov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Danilov lands a jab to the nose.

Jeez, Art Ist's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Ist gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Danilov gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Ist is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
