The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanco jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pain ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Blanco throws a hook to the side of Pain's head but Pain sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Pain shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Blanco sprawls well. Blanco wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pain gets slowly back to his feet.

Pain shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Blanco is trying to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pain thows a huge punch but Blanco dodges it nicely.
Pain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Pain is taking a breather. Blanco says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Pain throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Blanco has his hands clasped together but Pain breaks the hold and Blanco is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Pain!
