The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hennard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ronaldo is fending him off so far but Hennard persists. Nope, Ronaldo circles away and we're back to standing.
Ronaldo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hennard.
Ronaldo misses the body punch
enabling Hennard to counter with a crisp jab.
Hennard misses with a right hand
and Ronaldo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ronaldo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ronaldo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hennard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hennard rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Ronaldo counter with a right hand.
Hennard misses the jab.
Ronaldo blocks a jab.
Ronaldo misses with a wild body shot.
And Hennard tries to counter it with a takedown but Ronaldo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
George Pierre Hennard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hennard misses with a hook.
Ronaldo throws a shot from downtown. Hennard moves away and avoids it.
Ronaldo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ronaldo wants it to stay on the feet.
Antonio Ronaldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Pierre Hennard.
Ronaldo just misses with a punch to the body.
Hennard shoots in and drives through. Ronaldo sprawls well.

Ronaldo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hennard is out of range and Ronaldo settles back down.
Hennard changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Nice takedown defense from Ronaldo. No joy for Hennard on that attempt.
Ronaldo lands with a good body shot.
Some bone on bone action there as Hennard checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hennard drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ronaldo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hennard is looking to advance position but Ronaldo has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ronaldo wants to control the pace but Hennard is squirming around nicely.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hennard tries to improve his position but Ronaldo has taken his back! Ronaldo has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Hennard tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Ronaldo pushes Hennard away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
