PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and J Breaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manuel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ruff Ryders Anthem. Breaker has chosen Hustlin' as his entrance music. Charlie Manuel has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manuel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Breaker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Manuel as he avoids it easily.

Breaker drops Manuel with a right and a left! Breaker comes rushing in but Manuel regains his composure and manages to keep Breaker in guard.


It looks like Charlie Manuel has been cut.

Manuel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Breaker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Breaker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Manuel had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Breaker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Manuel Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Breaker's back instead.

J Breaker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Breaker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
