Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pat Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Bicki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sharp comes to the cage accompanied by Funhouse. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bicki with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sharp to score with a decent uppercut.
Bicki's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sharp connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bicki scrambles back to his feet.
The fighters circling - Bicki throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sharp half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Bicki moves out of range as Sharp strikes.
Sharp misses with a takedown attempt
and Bicki counters with a right hand to the body.

Bicki rushes Sharp and presses him up against the cage.
Sharp on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sharp misses with the head strike.
Sharp tries to pull guard but Bicki forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sharp is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
A frustrated look appears on Bicki's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bicki lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Bicki misses with a knee to the head.
Sharp trying to stall but Bicki improves his position.
Bicki is trying to force a seperation but Sharp has the dominant position.
Sharp has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Sharp jumps into guard, dragging Bicki to the mat.

Sharp wants to sweep but no luck.
Bicki looking to sit in guard and control but Sharp gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Sharp is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Sharp is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Sharp keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bicki's head.
Sharp prevents Bicki from getting back to his feet.

Sharp is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sharp lands a couple of digs.

Bicki wants to stand but Sharp is controlling the position.
Sharp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sharp advances position into side control!
Bicki takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Bicki tries to improve position but can't.
Bicki looks to move to half guard but instead Sharp has passed into mount! Damn!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sharp with the ground and pound from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You get the feeling that Bicki really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Sharp lands a big elbow.
Sharp dominating with strikes here.
Sharp lands a couple of good shots and Bicki has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Bicki is trying to stand. He's onto all fours with Sharp on his back. Sharp looks like he's slipping off but he's actually tansitioning to a beautiful armbar! Bicki has to tap out to a very impressive submission!
