Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby McBobby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Matiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McBobby comes into the arena with Cold as Ice -- MOP blaring out of the sound system. Matiss has chosen Ennio Morricone - The Ecstasy of Gold as his entrance music. Mario Matiss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matiss swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McBobby lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Matiss has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Matiss and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

McBobby drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Matiss lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Matiss closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Matiss using the Thai plumb to throw knees but McBobby has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
McBobby lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Matiss in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Whack! Matiss lands a heavy head kick that drops McBobby. The ref tackles Matiss to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because McBobby was done.

Mario Matiss decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
