The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartone throws a right and a left that Shottah avoids nicely.
Shottah dodges the punch combination from Bartone.

Shottah is working an open guard so Bartone takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Shottah throws a hook to the side of Bartone's head but Bartone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Shottah shoots in and bounces Bartone off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bartone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shottah. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bartone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shottah can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
