The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rad pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Veide throws out a loose jab but Rad uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Veide moves away.
Veide appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Rad dives in for a single leg takedown but Veide sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Veide lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rad at a distance.

Rad has Veide up against the cage in a clinch.
Rad blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Rad scores with a knee to the head.
Veide blocks a punch to the side of the head.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Rad just misses with a elbow thrown towards Veide's brow.
Veide on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Veide digs a right hand underneath Rad's ribcage. Rad let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Veide swings wildly with an uppercut but Rad uses good head movement to avoid it.
Veide doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Veide connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rad momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Veide cracks Rad with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rad tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Veide pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rad is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
