The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladimir misses with a takedown

and Vanderhose counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Vanderhose manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Vanderhose has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Vladimir after a bit of a struggle.
