Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jom Obstaculo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jax Marciano struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Obstaculo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Marciano takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
A bit of stalling here from Obstaculo.
Obstaculo manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Obstaculo or perhaps it was just good defense by Marciano, which made it look bad.
Obstaculo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Marciano sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Obstaculo throws a head kick but Marciano moves out of range.

Obstaculo shoots in looking for a takedown but Marciano manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Obstaculo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jom Obstaculo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Our sources have told us that Obstaculo has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Obstaculo is staying active underneath Marciano, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Marciano is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Marciano looking to ground and pound but Obstaculo is blocking nicely.
Marciano looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

It looked like Obstaculo was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Marciano.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Obstaculo.
Obstaculo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Obstaculo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marciano is fending him off so far but Obstaculo persists. Nope, Marciano circles away and we're back to standing.

Obstaculo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Obstaculo is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Marciano reverses the position - he's now on top in Obstaculo's guard.
