And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gab Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez shoots and misses
and Alberts counters with a head kick. That will keep Lopez thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Lopez fails in his attempt to clinch.
Alberts lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Alberts.
Lopez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Gab Lopez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lopez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Alberts sprawls well. Alberts wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lopez gets slowly back to his feet.
Alberts throws a counter high kick but Lopez was just alert enough to avoid it.

Alberts lands a big head kick that sends Lopez tumbling to the mat! Alberts takes a step backwards and waves Lopez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Alberts throws an overhand right that drops Lopez like a sack of potatoes! Alberts dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
