The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Davis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Goodwin.
Goodwin wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Davis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
As Davis tries to get set, Goodwin tries to push him back and clinch up but Davis manages to avoid the attempt.
Goodwin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davis's waist but Davis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Goodwin off to one side.
