Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peyton Hillis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fatu Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tua has chosen Freak on a Leash by Korn as his entrance music. Fatu Tua has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua throws a looping overhand right but Hillis ducks down to avoid it.
Tua swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
It looked like Hillis was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Tua scores with a jab. Hillis acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tua has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Tua pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hillis seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Hillis on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Hillis throws a right and a left that Tua avoids nicely.
Tua does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Tua tries to bum rush Hillis with a series of wild strikes but Hillis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hillis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tua. Tua obviously looking to wear him down.
Tua feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hilliss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hillis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Hillis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tua.
Tua swings for the body but Hillis moves out of range.
Tua lunges at Hillis with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hillis's hand.
Hillis clobbers Tua with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hillis is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Hillis avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Hillis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hillis works over Tua's head and body with a nice combination.
Tua throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hillis is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Tua misses with an uppercut
and Hillis counters with a one-two to the body.
Hillis misses with a looping right.
Tua lands with an uppercut that bounces Hillis off the cage and back into range.
Tua throws a leg kick which misses Hillis's front leg but catches the back leg as Hillis tries to avoid it.
Hillis misses with a straight left.
Tua looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hillis shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tua eats them both and turns towards Hillis to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Hillis is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hillis throws an overhand right that lands on Tua's shoulder, as Tua tries to avoid the shot.
Tua throws out a loose jab but Hillis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tua is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hillis.
Hillis scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tua in his tracks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Fatu Tua will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Fatu Tua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tua connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Hillis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tua circles away quickly and effectively.
Tua cracks Hillis with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Tua drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Tua drops Hillis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hillis looks back up at him and smiles so Tua waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Hillis is rocked!

It looks like Peyton Hillis has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hillis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oh Hillis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tua throws a hook but Hillis blocks it.
Tua misses with a wild combination.
Tua has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

An attempted straight right counter from Hillis misses the target.
Hillis blocks a jab.
Tua is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Hillis flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hillis is out cold! Tua holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
