The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz has his takedown stuffed
and Murphy counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cruz's knee momentarily.
Cruz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Murphy defends it nicely.
As Cruz backs away, Murphy returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Murphy lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Luciano Cruz has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
