Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dickie Crash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wooden Pencil!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crash scores with a three punch combo!
Pencil swats away the attempt to clinch by Crash.
Crash cracks Pencil with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wooden Pencil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pencil tries for a takedown but Crash sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pencil is looking to clinch.

Pencil closes the distance and pushes Crash back into the cage.
We've been informed that Pencil has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Pencil is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Crash is defending well for now.
Pencil misses with a hook from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crash cracks Pencil with a nice body shot.
Pencil avoiding damage as Crash throws knees to the body.
Pencil tries to throw a body punch but Crash avoids it by throwing Pencil back against the cage.

Pencil breaks from the clinch.
Pencil wants to clinch up but Crash keeps it at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pencil tries to clinch but Crash moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Crash.
A nice inside leg kick there by Crash. That's going to slow Pencil down.

Crash cracks Pencil with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Pencil looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Crash finish him?

Crash tries to keep at a distance but Pencil has taken the fight into the clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Crash.
Crash lands with a left to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pencil's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pencil connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Crash tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pencil paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Crash avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pencil tries to clinch but Crash moves out of range.
Crash and Pencil are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Crash throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Pencil into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Crash knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dickie Crash!
During a confident post fight interview, Dickie Crash thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
