Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers rushes Larson and presses him up against the cage.
Larson jumps guard and drags Rivers to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Rivers throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Larson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Larson wants to stand but Rivers is controlling the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rivers throwing strikes but missing.
Rivers tries to stand but Larson is controlling from the bottom.
Larson wants to stand and escape but Rivers is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rivers wants to get up but he can't break Larson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Larson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Rivers scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Rivers throws a sloppy head kick and Larson moves out of range easily.
Rivers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Larson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rivers was covering up waiting for the punch and Larson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rivers lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Larson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Rivers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Larson is adopting a defensive guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Larson tries for a takedown but Rivers circles away easily
and Rivers counters with a crisp one two that drops Larson! Rivers thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Larson to his feet! Larson is in big trouble!
Larson is rocked!
Rivers closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Larson out cold! Larson corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Zeke Rivers!
A very excited looking Zeke Rivers made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
