PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gene Flintlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flintlock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Undead by Hollywood Undead. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flintlock scores with a jab.
Flintlock throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Flintlock off to one side.
Gracie misses with a takedown
and Flintlock counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Flintlock looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Flintlock knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Flintlock wants to stand but Gracie has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Gracie throws his legs up looking for a submission but Flintlock uses it to pass to side control.

Flintlock has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Flintlock is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Flintlock is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Flintlock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.

Flintlock wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie wants to take a breather but Flintlock is having none of it.
