Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lil Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tor Troeng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tor Troeng!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jon shoots in for a takedown but Troeng shows good takedown defense.
Troeng swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Jon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Troeng pinned against the cage. Troeng gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Troeng lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Sloppy strikes from Troeng. Those never looked like landing.
Jon dives in and grabs Troeng's left leg, looking for a takedown. Troeng pushes down on Jon's head and hops out.

Jon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Troeng defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Troeng's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Lil Jon will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jon shoots in looking for a takedown. Troeng tries to sprawl out of it but Jon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Troeng manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Troeng looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Troeng. Jon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Troeng leaves Jon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Troeng has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Troeng has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Lil Jon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Troeng throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Troeng works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Oh Jon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Troeng catches Jon with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Jon forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

After the fight, Tor Troeng was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
