Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Heyerdahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Riddick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riddick comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ture Nature by Jane's Addiction kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Richard Riddick has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thor Heyerdahl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Richard Riddick!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddick moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Riddick has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Riddick lands a jab to the nose.
Riddick throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Riddick scores with the left hand. Heyerdahl knows he should have avoided that one.
Riddick just misses with a punch to the body.
Riddick fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Riddick loads up on a big right hand but Heyerdahl slips the punch.
And Heyerdahl counters with a quick kick to the body but Riddick blocks it.
Riddick checks a low kick from Heyerdahl.
A jab from Riddick does it's job there.
Riddick has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Heyerdahl.
Heyerdahl throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Heyerdahl lands with a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Heyerdahl stuns Riddick with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Heyerdahl. That's going to slow Riddick down.
Heyerdahl moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Heyerdahl looks to land a body kick but Riddick moved away.
A nice side step and Riddick releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Heyerdahl takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The fighters circling - Riddick throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Heyerdahl lands a big head kick that sends Riddick tumbling to the mat! Heyerdahl takes a step backwards and waves Riddick back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Riddick is rocked!

It looks like Richard Riddick has been cut.
Heyerdahl cracks Riddick with a left hook right on the temple and Riddick goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Heyerdahl lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Riddick is OK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Thor Heyerdahl!
After the fight, Thor Heyerdahl was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
