The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cross is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cross fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Cross tests Mutombo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cross definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cross thows a left - swing and a miss!
Cross cracks Mutombo on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mutombo falls backwards against the cage. Cross follows up with more strikes that drop Mutombo to his knees. Cross keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mutombo! This one is all over!
