The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanachi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kanachi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Asger's head.
Kanachi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Asger lands with an uppercut that bounces Kanachi off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Juya Kanachi has been cut.
Kanachi takes one on the button.
Juya Kanachi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Asger blocks a head kick by Kanachi.
Kanachi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Asger finds it's way round the side to connect with Kanachi's head.

and Asger counters with a right hand to the body.
Kanachi looks winded!

Asger lands a big right hand that sends Kanachi crashing to the mat! Asger stays standing though and waves Kanachi back to his feet!

Kanachi is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Asger darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Kanachi's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Asger before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
