Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sega Genesis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Genesis has chosen Sonic the hedgehog theme song -by GENESIS as his entrance music. Nick Kennedy is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Genesis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kennedy throws a right hand that Genesis ducks under and follows up with a left that Genesis also avoids with ease.

Kennedy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Genesis's guard.
Genesis lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Genesis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kennedy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kennedy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kennedy!

Kennedy tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Genesis tries to buck Kennedy off but Kennedy is having none of it.

Kennedy throws an elbow but Genesis slips to the side and avoids it well.

Genesis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kennedy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kennedy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kennedy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Genesis for as long as he can get away with.

Genesis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kennedy is trying to defend but Genesis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Genesis is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kennedy throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Genesis's body to avoid the submission. Genesis has instead reached around Kennedy's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Genesis arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

In his post fight interview, Sega Genesis started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
