Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tanner Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donall Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tanner Rojas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Donall Reid!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rojas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rojas misses with a series of wild punches.
Reid is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Rojas with a body shot.

Reid closes the distance and clinches.
Rojas lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Reid.
Rojas drops down looking for an ankle pick but Reid pulls his leg out and moves away.
Reid tries a head kick but it misses.

Reid shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Rojas is staying active underneath Reid, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rojas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reid manages to get himself to full guard.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Reid. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Reid fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rojas to the ground. Reid is now in Rojas's guard.

Reid throws a strike but Rojas rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Rojas postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Reid is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rojas, into his guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reid accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rojas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Reid gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

I would just about give that final round to Donall Reid.
