The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aruba on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Aruba tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gunn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aruba somewhat.
Gunn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aruba moves away.
Gunn scores with a jab. Aruba acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Aruba doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Aruba takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Aruba is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Aruba takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aruba shoots in for a double leg but Gunn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Chris Gunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reinaldo Aruba.

and Gunn counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Aruba out cold! What a finish! Gunn is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
