Maldonado moves into the clinch successfully.

Boyatt drops Maldonado with a big knee straight up the middle! Maldonado is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Hans Maldonado has been cut.
Maldonado swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Maldonado tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Horrible takedown attempt by Maldonado or perhaps it was just good defense by Boyatt, which made it look bad.
Maldonado misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Maldonado sets himself, and Boyatt steps forward looking for the clinch! Maldonado avoids it this time.
Maldonado pulls out of a head kick attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Maldonado throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boyatt.
Boyatt tries to counter with a clinch but Maldonado shakes him off and moves away.

Maldonado takes the fight into the clinch.

Boyatt working the clinch nicely. Maldonado is working for position but Boyatt cracks him with a big knee to the head! Maldonado crumples up against the cage and Boyatt lands two more shots before the ref can save Maldonado! This one is all over!
