The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man throws a head kick that misses
and Ruell counters with a nice body kick.
Eff Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Man takes a swing at Ruell's ribcage but misses.
Man scores with a nice right hand.
Ruell throws a leg kick but Man sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Man looks to land a right hand but Ruell moved out of range.
Man throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ruell tries to counter by clinching up but Man breaks away and moves out of range.
Man delivers a nice body kick.
Ruell moves out of range as Man strikes.
Man comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Man displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ruell throws out the jab.
Ruell takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Man throws a sloppy head kick and Ruell moves out of range easily.

and Ruell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Man throws a shot from downtown. Ruell moves away and avoids it.

Man misses with a body kick.
Ruell is looking to counter punch.
Ruell throws a right hand that Man ducks under and follows up with a left that Man also avoids with ease.
Ruell misses with a looping left.
Man throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Man swings for the body but Ruell moves out of range.
Ruell quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Man takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ruell has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Man connects with an inside leg kick.
Man pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ruell is looking for a counter combo.
Man connects with a body shot.

and Ruell rattles Man with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Man tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Ruell dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Man stiff and motionless on the mat!
