The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheppards stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sheppards wants it to stay on the feet.
Sheppards scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lebowski in his tracks.
Sheppards darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sheppards fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Lebowski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sheppards sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sheppards has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lebowski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sheppards manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sheppards lands the left hand.
Sheppards avoids the head kick by Lebowski .
Sheppards lands a right hook to the body.
Sheppards tries to bum rush Lebowski with a series of wild strikes but Lebowski uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lebowski is looking for a counter combo.
Lebowski has been working on his balance at The GYM (20 elite coaches on the Island !!!), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Sheppards.
Lebowski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sheppards swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lebowski prevents Sheppards from breaking the clinch.
Sheppards misses with a punch on the inside.
Lebowski has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sheppards after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffery Lebowski . That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lebowski is looking to control Sheppards's arms but Sheppards gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lebowski has his back to the cage.

Sheppards swings wildly with an uppercut but Lebowski uses good head movement to avoid it.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jeffery Lebowski .
Sheppards misses with a wild combination.
Lebowski drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Lebowski moves into the clinch.
Lebowski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lebowski doesn't manage to clinch there - Sheppards circles away.

Sheppards lands an uppercut.
Sheppards is pressed up against the cage. Lebowski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sheppards down to the mat. Sheppards avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Carl Sheppards is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lebowski misses with a few strikes there.
Sheppards lands a two punch combo.
