Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timothy Weathersworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timothy Weathersworth will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hill feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hill wants to control from the top but Weathersworth keeps moving.
Hill postures up.
Weathersworth is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hill slips nicely into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hill drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Weathersworth wants to control from the top but Hill keeps moving.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Weathersworth shoots in for a double leg but Hill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Weathersworth working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Weathersworth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Weathersworth has control of Hill's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hill regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hill is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
