Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tebato Nakara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Nakara counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rua connects with a leg kick. Nakara looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nakara crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rua - the referee stops the clock and Nakara gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rua. Nakara manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rua lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nakara has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nakara and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nakara is looking to work some ground and pound but Rua has wrist control.

Rua is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tebato Nakara comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nakara has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
