Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Hoffer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Kim!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffer takes a swing at Kim's ribcage but misses.
And Kim tries to counter it with a takedown but Hoffer pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kim misses with a jab to the body
and Hoffer counters with a leg kick.
Kim misses with a looping right.
Hoffer throws the left hand but Kim avoids the punch easily.

Kim shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kim not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Kim passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hoffer!
Hoffer is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kim wants to control the pace but Hoffer is squirming around nicely.

Kim is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hoffer has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hoffer!

Kim tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Kim has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hoffer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hoffer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kim swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kim tries to buck Hoffer off but Hoffer is having none of it.
Hoffer is looking to take a break and control but Kim is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kim tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hoffer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
