Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deividas Vilkas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sola Romaneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vilkas comes to the cage accompanied by Hunter/Killer. Romaneiro is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Guns of Brixton - The Clash. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vilkas, as that shot connected.
Romaneiro throws a leg kick which misses Vilkas's front leg but catches the back leg as Vilkas tries to avoid it.
Romaneiro looks for a takedown but Vilkas sprawls well.
Vilkas gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Romaneiro.
Vilkas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Romaneiro. That did some damage!
Vilkas ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Romaneiro tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vilkas defends well and Romaneiro ends up having to push Vilkas into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Romaneiro lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vilkas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vilkas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Romaneiro takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Vilkas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Romaneiro can do to turn this around?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Romaneiro fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vilkas has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vilkas, right into the meat.
Horrible takedown attempt by Romaneiro or perhaps it was just good defense by Vilkas, which made it look bad.

Romaneiro drops his hands momentarily. Vilkas doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Romaneiro staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Romaneiro doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
