The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

labod gets a takedown into half guard.
Mans is refusing to be controlled, as labod sits in half guard.

labod is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mans doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time labod.
Mans is looking to improve his position.

Mans looking for submissions off his back.
labod trying to control the action but Mans is working from the bottom.
Mans blocking the ground and pound attempt from labod.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mans has eaten all the pies!

labod wants to work for an arm triangle but Mans is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Mans lands a body shot.
labod misses with a two punch combination.
labod takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
labod is breathing heavily.
Mans throws a series of punches but labod moves out of range.
labod shoots in for a takedown but Mans shows good takedown defense.
Mans lands with a nice body punch.
labod throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mans shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has labod pinned against the cage. labod gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mans moves into the clinch successfully.
Mans lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Mans slows down the pace here.

Mans pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
labod throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mans counters with a nice low kick that buckles labod's knee momentarily.
Mans scores with a sloppy right hand. labod should have avoided that one.
Mans moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Mans throws a wild body kick that labod sees coming a mile off.
labod with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mans to score with a decent uppercut.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
labod takes one to the chin there.
Good work by labod as he checks the leg kick.
labod drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mans jabs labod right on the nose. labod blinks but takes it well.
Mans scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
labod walks into a left hand.
Mans misses with a body kick.
Mans feints and then cracks labod's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow labod down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
labod takes a kick to the side of the head.
labod blocks a head kick by Mans.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Typo Mans dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mans, as that shot connected.
Mans tries to clinch there but labod circles away.
labod tries to clinch up
and Mans counters with a straight right hand.
Typo Mans seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The crowd cheers as Mans lands an impressive looking overhand right. labod doesn't seem phased though.
labod clinches but Mans breaks the clinch
and Mans cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mans tries a head kick but it misses.
labod misses with a takedown attempt - Mans sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mans throws a nice looking combination but labod bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

labod slips a jab and a cross from Mans.
labod clinches but Mans breaks the clinch
enabling Mans to counter with a crisp jab.
labod takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
labod tries a low kick but Mans avoids it.
labod doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mans counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Mans throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent labod stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A thudding body kick lands there by Mans!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

labod takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
todd labod is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
labod with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mans to score with a decent uppercut.
Mans lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mans.
Mans connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between labod's hands.
labod walks into a straight right hand from Mans.
Jab, jab by Mans - just one landing.
An inside leg kick lands from Mans.
Mans fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Mans throws a one two combo.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Mans! labod is backing up but he can't get away as Mans lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops labod and ends the fight. Great knockout.
